HEL Performance brake calipers are offered in a Moto GP-inspired nickel coating. The brake calipers are each equipped with 2 pad retaining pins. To change the brake pads, they are briefly unscrewed and the brake pads are replaced. The calipers should be blown out with air before reinstalling to ensure the internal surfaces are clean. Separate bleed nipples ensure that the bleed point is at the highest possible point on the brake caliper. Our calipers also feature a full, circumferential fluid path. This means that a complete circle runs through the caliper. It makes it easier to completely remove the air from the system.

Our brake calipers weigh 715 grams (without pads) and are equipped with stainless steel pistons. Stainless steel acts as a heat sink, dissipating heat generated by braking. The brake fluid is heated less. The boiling point of brake fluids is at different temperatures depending on the fluid used. Storing heat in the pistons rather than heating the fluid improves braking for longer periods – perfect on the track.

We manufacture our brake calipers exclusively from solid 6082-T6 billet aluminum on state-of-the-art CNC systems. Many mass-produced calipers are forged, but this limits the possibilities of their design. The forgings also need to be machined for threads and internal flow circuit as forging is unable to produce these details. We offer the highest product quality.
