Factory electronic steering damper eliminator module
The Steering Damper Eliminator will take care of the annoying FI light when removing the OEM electronic steering damper on modern sportbikes.
If you are serious about racing, we recommend replacing the factory electronic steering damper. However, disconnecting the factory damper from the bike’s main harness will instantly result in the FI light coming on (which could mask some serious bike/engine-related faults). This is where the SD Eliminator comes in handy – just plug it into the factory damper’s connector and you’re ready to go!
(After disconnecting the factory electronic unit, we recommend using a quality aftermarket steering damper from a reputable brand/supplier (like HyperPro, Ohlins, etc)!
Warning: This module totally eliminates the effects of the standard electronic steering damper, therefore instability phenomena such as steering wobbling and / or swaying of the motorcycle at high speeds may occur.
For safety reasons, an aftermarket non-electronic steering damper will need to be installed
